Thurgood Marshall Elementary School PTA
Fill the Beak Week is our main Fall Fundraiser. Instead of selling wrapping paper to get just a portion of the profit, the TMES PTA has chosen this super fun event for the kids at TMES. Kids compete each day for prizes for the class who brings in the most pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollars. The daily winners are announced each day over the intercom. The best part is that 100% of your donations go to benefit the school, and bonus: it's tax deductible!!Learn More →
Our second annual Read-a-Thon will be our Spring Fundraiser this year. Kids will earn money for reading over winter break! Donations are... yup! tax deductible!Learn More →
The variety show is an opportunity for TMES students to show their talents on stage! Ticket sales traditionally go towards end-of-the-year 5th grade activities, so the fifth grade parents have first dibs on organizing the Variety show.Learn More →
One day in each month, a local restaurant gives a percentage of their sales to the TMES PTA! Look for flyers and Yahoo announcements so you can go out, have dinner cooked for you, and support the PTA.
We have classroom contests throughout the year for classes that collect the most box tops. Please trim your box tops and check their expiration date before placing them in a plastic bag labeled with your child's teacher's name - then just send them to school with your child!
The TMES PTA will run a virtual book fairs with Scholastic during the year. Money raised through the book fair is used to provide new books to our library, each of our teachers at TMES, and to support a TMES PTA program that supplies books to TMES students over the summer who might otherwise not have access to books.Learn More →
